300% increase in organic traffic after 5 months of cooperation – Machonline case study

Actions taken

  • SEO audit,
  • Optimization of h1/h2/h3 headings,
  • Content optimization for keywords and keyword saturation of on-page content,
  • Strengthening internal link architecture within the site,
  • Creating SEO-optimized blog posts.

Our efforts and thorough work within machonline.pl enabled us to build a very good relationship with the client, as well as contributed to the fact that the cooperation was carried out with great commitment on both sides. This is also a project that can be a good example that results can be achieved in a short time.

Organic marathon key to store success

The situation before the audit was unsatisfactory. The organic traffic was constantly ranking within 200 hits, and the keywords were in the TOP 10+ for the vast majority. Such insight into the situation gave us enough information we needed. This knowledge allowed us to develop strategies for action so that results began to appear in a short time. One of our first actions we took was to optimize content and h1/h2/h3 headings for the right keywords for the site.

A 2-fold increase right from the start!

The first positive effect of our actions appeared very quickly. Just one month after we started the work, the site gained a twofold increase in traffic, and the keywords began to strengthen their position. The chart below shows how quickly success can be achieved, acting according to specific and proven methods.

We strengthen the link structure + build the first content for the blog

Another important step for the machonline.co.uk store was to strengthen the internal link structure throughout the site. The descriptions of the main product categories began to “link” to other categories, as did the subcategories. This gave the site a significant boost in functionality and promotion of less important categories that are not frequently visited.

We also prepared a very similar plan for the content, published on the blog. Extending linking between individual blog posts, as well as directly to given products or categories, was the second part of the process of strengthening the site internally. Using such an action, we achieved several effects – increasing the user’s time on the site, engaging the customer in interacting with the site, and suggesting more relevant products to the customer as they read the content.
