MARCH 2020

Actions taken

  • preparation of the skeleton of the site, taking into account keywords
  • preparation of product descriptions, categories and first blog entries
  • graphic design of individual subpages with particular emphasis on the product subpage
  • coding of individual views
  • adding integration with payment and package operators
  • testing and then launching the service

In this case study we would like to share a great cooperation with a committed client.

This is one of our best realizations, as the sales effect from the activities carried out was simply stunning. A complete redesign of the online store, whose layout was already outdated, and whose information architecture did not allow us to take full advantage of the opportunities it offered. After implementation, we moved to subscription-based marketing activities, the main goal of which was to increase organic traffic directed to the site.

In the initial period after implementation, sales did not look impressive. It remained stable, with Google indexing new pages and slow response to external linking efforts and regular addition of blog posts.

The adaptation period in the sales context was about 6 months. During this period we recorded increases of 100-200% per month from the initial ceiling, but this was not yet a result that satisfied us. It was only after the aforementioned 6-month period that sales shot up to 550% in a single month and have remained around that level until today.

Such an effect is the result of regular activities within SEO + UX, which included:

  • creation of articles for the blog along with internal linking
  • on-site optimization of the online store
  • directing valuable links to the site in the form of external linking
  • improving the UX of the online store, mainly in the critical points of contact with the orderer – product sub-page, order sub-page, shopping cart
  • regular analysis and drawing conclusions – optimization of individual subpages of the category in terms of sales growth
  • constant cooperation with the client’s team in terms of increasing visibility and sales in the store

In this case, however, we know that it can be even better – and we are currently in advanced talks to implement our ultra-fast Headless Commerce store system, i.e. Next.JS on the front-end and WooCommerce as Headless CMS.
