KUMATEX Case Study: Redesign and Migration of Over 16,000(!) Subpages
KUMATEX is a company in the construction machinery engine parts industry that needed a modern, user-friendly, and more easily scalable website. The project involved not only refreshing the site’s design but also a comprehensive overhaul of its structure, technical infrastructure, and the way its offerings are presented.
Starting Point
The starting point was a website that had grown over the years alongside the company’s product range but had become increasingly difficult to maintain. Our task was to streamline this complexity so that the site could once again effectively support sales, customer service, and SEO.
This is what the website looked like before: https://web.archive.org/web/20250806022822/https://www.kumatex.pl/
Project Scale
Working on over 16,000 subpages required precision, as every decision affected the structure of the entire platform. In a project like this, what matters isn’t just what the user sees on the screen, but also how the site works behind the scenes.
Our Work
The implementation covered both the UX/UI layer and the organization of content, categories, and the site’s technical infrastructure. As a result, the site gained a more logical structure and became easier to expand in the future.
Result
The new website better guides users through the product and service offerings and more clearly highlights KUMATEX’s areas of expertise. This is particularly important in the technical industry, where users want to quickly find a specific part, service, or the right contact person.
Technical Perspective
The greatest value of the project lay in the data structure, migration, and maintaining SEO continuity. These are the elements that determine whether the new website will simply be more visually appealing or truly ready for scaling.
Contact
Every large website, after years of operation, reaches a point where it needs not just a facelift, but a thoughtful redesign. A well-designed platform can serve as the foundation for sales, SEO, content, and the company’s continued growth.
Summary
The KUMATEX project demonstrates that redesigning a large website requires much more than just a new visual layer. When migrating over 16,000 subpages, information architecture, data organization, UX, technical SEO, and preparing the site for future expansion become critical.
At Re Bena Gesta, we combined these areas into a single process. This resulted in a platform that not only looks more modern but, above all, better meets the needs of users, the company, and future organic growth.
